The Knight’s and Riggi’s have known each other for many years. We were friends before each of us owned our own companies. Our companies then started to use each other for business which bonded us even more. Over the past few years during the many get togethers and phone calls, starting a propane company was a hot topic between us. During that time, we were unclear as to what Right Energy could or would be. With John and Rob’s business background, Right Energy went from being a “good idea” to launching the business in two months time. Looking back, the four of us are still amazed at how quickly we managed to make this happen with our own daily lives. The one thing we knew for sure is that we wanted to combine our successes to be able to further serve not only our hometown or the greater Waterbury area but also the many surrounding towns. We felt there was no better way to do it than to start Right Energy. 

To us, our name Right Energy is not just a name. It took us a lot of thought, a lot of tossing around all different kind of names, but nothing felt “right” to us. We each knew our own values in owning our own companies so putting a company together with those standards along with the importance of wanting to be known for our names together as a team, we needed it to feel “right”. So when you put together our names, Riggi and Knight, we are Right. It was right in front of our eyes like we were meant to be. In that moment, it hit home and we felt right. We know we are the right family to work with because we proudly hold all the right values to keep our customers highly satisfied and that is and always will be, our goal!
